Privacy & account deletion

What the app stores
Your email address, name, yeshiva connection, membership status, password hash, recovery-code hash and login sessions. The app also stores business listings, contact details, promotions, requests, replies and photos you choose to submit. Your password and recovery code are not stored in plain text.
Who can see your information
The administrator reviews membership requests and posts. Approved members can see approved listings and their contact details, community posts and replies. Pending listings are visible to their owner and the administrator. Email addresses used for registration are not automatically verified.
Hosting and third parties
The service is hosted through OpenAI Sites and uses Cloudflare database and file storage. These providers process data to run the service. Security controls use a hashed network address and account identifier to limit login attempts. Expired rate-limit records and sessions are removed during subsequent account requests. Operational providers may retain service logs under their own policies.
Opening WhatsApp or calling a business uses that external app. The Android app requests internet access and opens your system photo picker when you choose an image. It does not require access to your contacts or location.
Recovery
Save your recovery code privately. Password resets require the code; reset emails are not sent. Resetting a password revokes existing sessions and replaces the recovery code.
Delete your account
Sign in and open Account → Delete my account. Confirm your password to remove your login, membership, posts, replies and uploaded photos. Replies attached to your removed posts are also deleted. You can do this in your browser even if you uninstall the Android app.
Open account settingsData remains while your account is active, unless you delete it or the administrator removes content. Deletion removes active app data; hosting-provider backups and security logs may remain under provider retention policies.
Contact
For privacy or account assistance, contact the network administrator through the yeshiva. Do not share passwords or recovery codes.
